QUICKSTART GUIDE
WARNING
◉ This tent is NOT reproof and will burn in seconds if
exposed to ame or excessive heat.
◉ Do not cook in your tent.
◉ Do not place hot appliances close to the walls or roof of
your tent, observe safety warnings for any appliances
and do not allow children to play near them.
◉ Keep exits of tent free from obstructions and woodland
creatures, they will steal your food.
◉ Maintain adequate ventilation at all times, death by
suocation is possible. Always store any cheesy socks in
vestibules or outside tent.
◉ Anchor your tent carefully at all times: the use of tent
pegs is recommended, anchors are very heavy.
◉ Choose your campsite wisely, be aware of the possibility
of falling rocks and trees, lightning, ash oods, ava-
lanches and airborne whales.
◉ Using an additional footprint provides extra protection if
pitching on rough or boggy ground.
3. Assemble poles and lay them over the inner (1) - the
shorter pole lying between the two doors, hubs facing
down.
4. Insert the ends of each pole into the sockets located at
the corners of the inner (2)
PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Jaran 2 & 3 pitch inner rst with a minimum of 6 pegs.
2. Ensure the ground is free from sharp objects and rocks
that could damage your groundsheet. Lay out the
groundsheet and peg out the corners.

Thank you for purchasing the Alpkit Jaran backpacking tent. Please read, understand, and comply with all instructions and warnings.

Pitching Instructions

Prepare Groundsheet and Peg Corners

Pitch inner first with minimum 6 pegs. Ensure ground is free from sharp objects and lay out groundsheet, pegging corners.

Assemble Poles and Insert into Inner

Assemble poles and lay them over the inner tent. Insert pole ends into sockets located at the corners of the inner.

Suspend Inner Tent and Attach Flysheet

Suspend the inner tent using poles. Attach the flysheet over the inner, matching colour-coded tabs.

Secure Tent and Tension Guylines

Fasten toggles and velcro tabs around poles, hook corner tabs, and tension tent by adjusting buckles and guylines.

The tent is not fireproof, avoid flames/heat, do not cook inside, ensure ventilation, secure anchoring, and choose campsites wisely.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning and Drying Tent

Clean and dry tent thoroughly after each use. Spot clean with mild detergent and warm water. Air dry only.

Field Repair Guidance

Use duct tape or StormSure for rips. Use a splint or pole sleeve for broken poles. Contact for professional repair.
