  If the Altrad Vibratory rammers & tampers engine won't start, check the following: * Ensure the fuel tank is filled. * Make sure the fuel tap is open. * If it's a GX100 model, prime the engine by pushing the Carburettor Primer Bulb 4 times and then pull the Recoil Handle until the engine fires. * For diesel models, consult the Service & Maintenance section of the manual. * If it's a petrol engine, inspect the spark plug for contamination or damage and replace if necessary. * A faulty carburetor could also be the culprit, so service the carburetor.

  If the Altrad Vibratory rammers & tampers engine stops suddenly or when the engine RPM is increased, consider these possibilities: 1. Refer to the information provided earlier. 2. If it's a GX120 model, the main jet of the Carburettor might be clogged with dirt. Remove the main jet and clean it with compressed air. 3. The air filter element could be dirty, so clean it. 4. If it's a petrol engine, the spark plug cap might be loose. Tightly fit the cap to the plug.
