1. SAFETY IN THE WORK AREA
• Keep the work area clean and well lit. The cluttered or dark areas are conducive to accidents.
• Do not use power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable
liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite dust or fumes.
• Keep children and others away while operating.
2. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The plugs of the power tools must match the socket outlet. Never modify the plug. Do not
use adapter plugs with grounded power tools. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets
reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increa
se the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled
cordes increase the risk of electric shock. General safety warnings on power tools
