What to do if HYD. ON button does not illuminate on Amada RG35S–100?

  If the HYD. ON button on your Amada Power Tool doesn't light up when pressed, there could be several reasons. First, the button's lamp might be burnt out, in which case you should turn off both the machine and shop circuit breakers before replacing the lamp. Alternatively, the POWER ON/OFF keyswitch might be set to OFF, so ensure it's turned to ON. Another possibility is a blown fuse, which also requires turning off both circuit breakers before replacement. The thermal relay could be tripped, requiring you to press its reset button. Also, check if the bar pedal is pressed and held; release it if it is. Finally, an excessive uneven load during bending could be the cause, in which case you should contact AMADA.

  If the ram on your Amada Power Tool isn't closing when you press the bar pedal, start by checking the pressure adjusting knob and ensure it's fully tightened clockwise (+). If that's not the issue, refer to the section addressing what to do if the HYD. ON button doesn't illuminate, as the hydraulic pump motor might not be running. If the motor runs in reverse, consult the section on supplying electric power. Low oil level in the hydraulic oil tank can also prevent the ram from closing, so add oil as described in the section on maintaining the hydraulic system. If none of these steps resolve the issue, there may be faulty valves or other devices, or a disconnected pushrod, in which case you should contact AMADA.

Why is specified pressure not delivered by Amada Power Tool?

  If the specified pressure isn't being delivered by your Amada Power Tool, first ensure the pressure adjusting knob is fully tightened clockwise (+). Also, check that the rising speed change position is properly set. Low oil level in the hydraulic oil tank can also cause this issue, so add oil as needed. If these steps don't resolve the problem, the hydraulic pump might be faulty, the filters in the hydraulic oil tank could be clogged, or the seal in the cylinder may be worn, in which case you should contact AMADA.

What to do if ram does not close fast enough on Amada RG35S–100 Power Tool?

  If the ram on your Amada Power Tool is not closing fast enough, the rising speed change position might not be properly set. Try setting it again. If the issue persists, the rising speed change position setting lever may be faulty, in which case you should contact AMADA.

What to do if multiple closing limit of ram cannot be set on Amada RG35S–100?

  If you're having trouble setting the multiple closing limit of the ram on your Amada Power Tool, it could be due to the handwheel lock knob being overloosened, causing the multiple closing limit setting handwheel to become faulty. First, remove the handwheel lock knob. Then, expand the internal pin using a scriber or another sharp-pointed tool. Finally, reinstall the handwheel lock knob. If you're still unable to fix the issue, contact AMADA.
