To address vibration or off-balance issues with your Amana Washer, ensure the front and rear feet are firmly in contact with the floor and that the washer is level. The jam nuts should be tightened against the bottom of the cabinet. Also, check the floor for flexing or sagging; if uneven, placing a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood underneath can help. Unevenly distributed or excessively wet loads can also cause imbalance. Try to load dry garments loosely and evenly around the basket wall. Washing smaller loads and avoiding tightly packed items or single garments can also help. For oversized, non-absorbent items like comforters, use the Normal Regular cycle with a Large Load Size.
