English (Oxford University Press) on a brand-new Kindle
Touch. If you have purchased content while waiting for your
Kindle Touch to arrive, those e-books appear on the Home
screen when the wireless is turned on for the first time and
the e-books are downloaded. (By the way, the Kindle Touch
uses the New Oxford American Dictionary to look up words.
You can change this to the Oxford Dictionary of English, or any
other dictionary that you might buy and load onto your Kindle
Touch, by tapping the Menu button and tapping Settings. The
option to change the dictionary is the last item in the list.)

Books will show up if the device is already registered to your
account. If it’s not already registered, you’ll be prompted to
register the device. For the Wi-Fi only Kindle Touch, the first
thing that happens after the wireless is turned on is that you
will have to connect to your router, so you will need the
password.
