Troubleshooting
The sound bar has no power
• Press the power button on the remote control or at the top of Sound Bar.
• Make sure the power cord is securely connected.
• Plug a different device into the electrical outlet to verify that the outlet is working correctly.
The remote control does not work
• Remove any obstacles between the remote control and the IR sensor on the sound bar.
•
The remote control battery power may be low. Replace the batteries with two new 1.5 V AAA
batteries.
• Move closer to the sound bar. The remote control is only effective at a distance less than
approximately 23 feet (7 m).
• Other remote controls operated at the same time may cause interference.
There is no sound
• Increase the volume by using the Volume + button on the sound bar or the remote control.
• Press mute on the remote to ensure that sound bar is not muted.
• Press the source button on the sound bar or remote control to select a different input source.
• If using Bluetooth, turn up the volume on the Bluetooth device.
• If using the AUX 3.5 mm cable connection, make sure the volume is turned up on the sound
source.
• If using optical connection, make sure the source device’s audio source is set to “PCM” format.
Refer to the documentation of the audio source device.
• Make sure the audio cable is not damaged or broken. The audio cable may need to be replaced.
The sound is breaking up or buzzing
• Make sure all cables and wires are securely connected.
• Connect to a different source device to see if the buzzing persists. If it does not, the problem
might be with the original device.
• Connect the device to a different input on the sound bar.
• If using optical connection, make sure the source device’s audio source is set to “PCM” format.
Refer to the documentation of the audio source device.
• Make sure the audio cable is not damaged or broken. The audio cable may need to be replaced.
The Bluetooth device keeps unpairing
• Shorten the distance between the sound bar and the Bluetooth device.
• Turn the device off, and then turn it back on. Re-pair the sound bar and the Bluetooth device.
• Make sure the device or sound bar is not connected to another Bluetooth device.
• Check that “Amazonbasics210” was selected on the Bluetooth device.
