Why is my Amcor Dehumidifier's water extraction reduced?
    • E
      Eric BarronAug 1, 2025
If your Amcor Dehumidifier isn't extracting as much water as expected, try these steps: * Turn the humidistat knob clockwise to lower the relative humidity or set it to continuous. * Remember that water extraction is lower when the air is already dry or the temperature is low. * Make sure the unit is in a heated room above 5ºC, and defrost it for 2 hours before restarting with the heater on. * Clean the washable air filter or replace the activated carbon filter if fitted.

If the Amcor Dehumidifier is not starting, first, ensure it is properly plugged into a working mains socket and that the power light is illuminated. If the water full light is on, empty the water container, ensure it is correctly fitted, and verify that the float inside the container is properly attached and not broken.

What to do if water is leaking from my Amcor HD220H Dehumidifier in continuous drainage mode?
    • M

If water is leaking from your Amcor Dehumidifier's water tank when in continuous drainage mode: 1. Ensure the drainage funnel selector is correctly pulled forward and clicked into place. To switch back to water tank use, push the funnel selector back in until it clicks, and re-insert the stopper. Also, check for any blockages in the funnel. 2. If the unit has been running in temperatures below 5ºC, switch it off for 2 hours to defrost in a safe area. Only operate the unit in a heated room above 5ºC. 3. If you removed the container immediately after the unit was running, wait a few minutes after switching off to allow any ice or condensation to flow into the container.
