User Instructions

Introduction: Thank you for purchasing the Quick Scan™ by Ameri-

can DJ®. The Quick Scan™ is a packaged special effect lighting

system (systems includes; 3 XLR cable, Quick/C remote control, and

4 Quick Scan™ units). Everything you need for a great portable light

ing system is included in this one package. The system will run in a

master/slave configuration, any of the units can act as masters or as

slaves. The unit functioning as the master will react to an audio signal

via the built-in microphone, and the slaves will follow the master. The

Quick Scan™ is a 4 unit system with each unit including a bright 150

watt lamp and replaceable gobos and colored dichroic lenses. Add the

unique lighting effect with the compact and light case design and you

get a completely portable lighting effect show. This system is great for

mobile DJ’s, bands, and small clubs. The system is system set up and

easy in minutes and packs a powerful light show in a relatively small

package. For best results use this system with a fog machine or other

type of special effect fog to enhance the output of the colorful beams

produced beams.
