If your American Standard Air Cleaner is on but the green light is off, and the blower is running, it indicates a power supply issue or a shorted cell. Here's what you can do: 1. Ensure the power cord is correctly connected to both the power pack and the outlet. 2. Check for voltage at the air cleaner outlet box. If there's no voltage, inspect the fuse or circuit breaker on the power input line. 3. Verify that the fuse in the power pack hasn't blown. 4. Check for a shorted collecting cell by removing the collecting cells, installing the power door with only the pre-filter. If the green light turns on, the cell is shorted. 5. Make sure that the pre-filter is installed and not damaged. 6. Check for dirt or blockage in the air sensor tube.
