Why does my Amica Dryer take so long to dry?
- CCraig WilsonAug 16, 2025
The drying cycle might be taking longer than usual due to several reasons. The lint filter or the heat exchanger could be clogged, so try cleaning them. The ventilation grilles on the front of the appliance may be blocked, so open the doors/windows to prevent the room temperature from rising too much. A layer of scale may have formed on the humidity sensor, so you should clean the moisture sensor. Also, make sure you are not overloading the dryer and that the laundry is spun sufficiently by selecting a higher spin speed in the washing machine.
