 Only put food products inside the appliance after it has reached the operating temperature set
on the control unit (see Section 5.4 - Operation);
 Food products must only be placed inside the appliance after they have been previously refrig-
erated and have reached the storage temperature;
 Food products should only be placed inside the appliance if they are packaged or closed in
suitable food-grade containers.
5.4 Operation
The appliance operates by means of digital control unit, which is used to set the desired operating
temperature.
See Section 8 for more details about the control panel.
The user may carry out the following operations:
Switch on/off (see Pic.1 and Pic.3 - Section 8)
 AKD100W, AKD200W, AKD300W, AKD400W: insert the plug into the electrical socket, the cur-
rent temperature inside the refrigerator will appear on the display. To shut off the appliance,
disconnect the plug from the electrical socket;
 AKD400WZ: insert the plug into the electrical socket and, only if the display shows a few dashes
( --- ), press the I/0 start button: the current temperature inside the two cells will appear on the
display. To shut off the appliance, unlock the keyboard by pressing the keyboard UNLOCK button,
press the I/0 start button until the display shows a few dashes ( --- ), then disconnect the plug
from the electrical socket.
Wait at least 10 seconds after disconnecting the plug before connecting the appliance to the power
supply line again. In the case of a power failure, the compressor will restart approximately 3 minutes
after the power supply has been restored in order to avoid damaging the appliance by switching it
on and off multiple times.
Display the set temperature (set point)
Press the SET button once: the VIEW light lights up (model AKD400WZ excluded) and the display
shows the actual set temperature. Press the SET button or do no press any key for 15 seconds to exit
the view mode.
Temperature setting (set point)
Models AKD100W, AKD200W, AKD300W, AKD400W:
 Press the SET button for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu: the SET light lights up and the
display shows the current set temperature;
 Press the ▲(UP) or ▼(DOWN) button within 15 seconds to increase or decrease the set temper-
ature, respectively, until the new temperature has been reached;
 Press the SET button or do not press any key for 15 seconds to save the new value and exit the
settings menu.
Model AKD400WZ:
 Press the UNLOCK button for 3 seconds, until the display lights up: the °C symbol of the upper
cell temperature (on the left) starts flashing;
 Press the SET button once: the upper cell temperature (on the left) starts flashing;
 Press the ▲(UP) or ▼(DOWN) button to set the desired temperature;
 Press the SET button: the lower cell temperature (on the right) starts flashing;
 Press the ▲(UP) or ▼(DOWN) button to set the desired temperature;
 Press the SET button to save changes.
