2. Product Structure
3. Installation and Setup
1. Inspect the centrifuge for any damages. Contact distributor for
questions regarding damages.
2. Place centrifuge on steady and leveled surface. The area should be
well ventilated, and the centrifuge should be kept at least 300mm
away from surrounding objects in all directions. Champion E-33
Series is for indoor use only.
3. Verify that there are no loose pieces or packing material in the
centrifuge chamber.
4. Before centrifuging, test tubes need to be tightly sealed then placed
into rotor buckets. Do not use buckets from another manufacturer.
5. Make sure the loads are balanced before centrifugation. Make sure
that test tubes opposite of each other are of equal weight and size.
Use sample fluid or water to provide balance. Proper sample
balancing will improve sample separation and will extend the life of
the centrifuge. Glass test tubes are more likely to break if the
sample loads are unbalanced. Please install tubes into rotor
according to the following configurations:
6. Verify that the power switch is off and the timer is set at 0. Connect
the power cord to an appropriate power supply. (see back of
centrifuge for appropriate power source)
7. Turn on the centrifuge. Make sure there is little to no vibration and
the whirring sound produced is smooth. If there are excessive
vibration or abnormal sounds, stop the centrifuge and contact
distributor immediately.

Product Structure Overview

Installation and Setup Guide

Inspect for Damages

Check the centrifuge for any damages and contact the distributor if issues are found.

Placement and Ventilation

Position the centrifuge on a stable, level, and well-ventilated surface, at least 300mm from surroundings.

Check Chamber for Loose Items

Ensure the centrifuge chamber is free from any loose pieces or packing materials before use.

Tube Sealing and Bucket Compatibility

Tightly seal test tubes before placing them in rotor buckets. Use only manufacturer-approved buckets.

Rotor Load Balancing

Balance loads by ensuring opposite tubes match in weight and size. Use fluid for balance if needed.

Power Connection

Ensure the power switch is off and timer at 0 before connecting the power cord to a suitable supply.

Initial Operation Check

Turn on the centrifuge and check for smooth operation, minimal vibration, and normal sounds. Stop if abnormal.

Maintenance and Care Procedures

Disconnect Power for Maintenance

Always disconnect the power source before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance procedures.

Use Quality Test Tubes

Employ only high-quality test tubes to prevent fracturing and leakage of contents into rotor buckets.

Tube and Bucket Handling

Never force tubes into buckets and ensure buckets are clean. Dispose of broken glass safely.

Regular Cleaning and Sterilization

Clean spills immediately. Use mild solutions. Rotor/buckets can be autoclaved up to 120°C.

Storage Conditions

Store centrifuge in 0-30°C, ≤30% humidity, and clear atmosphere free of dust or corrosives.

Prohibited Usage of Centrifuge

Environmental and Operational Restrictions

Do not store/use in unspecified conditions, with unqualified persons, or near explosive materials.

Rotor and Accessory Guidelines

Do not overload, use damaged parts, or use non-manufacturer-approved rotors/accessories.

Chemical and Medium Restrictions

Avoid using chemicals causing corrosion or centrifuging flammable/explosive mediums.
