General Warranty Conditions for AMS radios :
> AMS warrants the device you have just purchased against any manufacturing defects or failure of its mechanical and electronic components exclusively.
> Under the terms of the warranty, parts* recognized as defective by the AMS will be replaced or repaired.
> AMS cannot under any circumstances be held liable to pay any compensation for direct or indirect prejudice resulting from immobilization of the device or loss of use or, whatever the cause.
*During the warranty period, AMS will at its discretion either repair the product or replace defective parts with refurbished or new ones, identical in terms of features and performance.
> For the products out of warranty :The manpower, the dismantling, the re-assembly as well as the product shipment cost are at the buyer. The shipment of the goods is always at the buyer cost.
Duration of the warranty :
> The duration of the warranty proposed by AMS for the new products is of 12 months or 24 months for the radios, from the purchasing date on AMS invoice The warranty is valid for two years from the purchase date shown on the invoice or sales
receipt.
> For the Exchanged or Repaired Products: The warranty is valid for 12 months from service date shown on the service invoice.
Documents to be provided :
> A copy of the original invoice or the service invoice must be supplied for the warranty request to be considered (Bill of delivery with serial numbers cooresponding to the device).
Exclusion causes :
> The warranty does not apply if :
> Damage is caused by lightning, ware, re, water, civil disorder, or any other cause not attributable to AMS.
> The use of assembly instructions have not been respected (connection or installation error when installing the device, incorrect power supply voltage, incorrect use of the device).
> Work has been carried out on the device by a person not authorized by AMS.
> The serial number has been take off or modied, or that the warranty seals has been take off or broken.
> The device is transported without suitable protection.
> The device has suffered damage due to corrosion or installation in an unsuitable environment (humidity, dust, poor ventilation, presence of foreign bodies or insects).
> The device has been modied or converted without authorization (whether to bring the device into conformity with technical and safety standards applicable in another EC country, or for any other reason).
Equipment not covered :
> The following are excluded from the warranty :
> Accessories which are not longer integral part of the device (headphones, microphone, etc.).
> Parts subject to normal and inevitable wear (belts, batteries, bulbs, fuses, seals, read head, diaphragm, etc.).
> Loudspeakers which have been subjected to power greater than their maximum specied power limit.
> In addition, AMS is not liable for damage caused by discs, magnetic tapes, cassettes or any other related equipment.
Warranty rejection :
> When the product is out of warranty, a cost for reparation is estimated and sent by fax to the certied retailer by the AMS technical service.
> The sale representative authorizes informs the AMS technical department from its decision : Acceptance of the reparation quotation, return of the non repaired product or authorization of destruction of the product.
> A xed cost for the quotation is invoiced if the reparation is not done.
