How to care for your Accoya wood
front
Wiping down the wood front with a damp cloth on a regular
basis to remove dirt and insects, will help extend the wood’s
lifespan. With both metal & wooden fronts, we recommend
using a cotton wool bud to clean in the grooves of the fascia,
if you really want to give it some TLC! Clean the surface with
warm water and a soft cloth. Rinse with clean water. Wipe
dry with a soft cloth.
Cleaning the Andersen badge
The metal Andersen badge on the front of your charge point
can be cleaned & maintained the same way that you would
clean your metal front & sides, using a warm, damp cloth.
Please do not use any abrasive cleaner as this may damage
your unit. There is no need to remove any screws or parts of
the charge point.
Looking after the cable and connector
When not in use, ensure your cable is correctly wrapped
around and the connector is placed back in the lid at the top
of your charge point, facing downward. Ensure when you
wrap the cable back into its stored position it is disconnected
from the vehicle and be careful not to allow the cable to
twist as it is wound back. Any twisting, misuse or incorrect
storage will damage the cable, and this is not covered by
Andersen warranty.

Cleaning your charge point
If you have a metal front to your A2 unit, we recommend using
a damp cloth to keep your charge point clean. This applies to
the sides of your unit also. Please do not use any abrasive
cleaner as this may damage your unit. There is no need to
remove any screws or parts of the unit.
