Release the blade lock by pressing the button on the
left side of the locking arm. The button should click
into place.
Remove blade assembly by pushing down on the front
of the blade.
Turn screws to the right to tighten. Pull the upper blade adjustment bracket back to release
the blade set. Your blade set is now zero-gapped.
Requires only a screwdriver to adjust blade.

Andis Blade Zero Gapper Use and Care

Loosen Blade Adjustment Screws

Turn screws left to loosen for Outliner or Styliner blades, cautioning against over-loosening.

Attach Blade Assembly to Gapper

Place blade assembly holes onto gapper pins and lift front of blade to click into place.

Verify Blade Seating

Ensure the blade is properly seated against the lip of the blade gapper.

Adjust Upper Blade Bracket

Push upper blade adjustment bracket forward until upper blade is firm against angled metal.

Lock Blade Assembly

Press button on right of locking arm to lock blade assembly into place.

Zero-Gap Blade Set

Pull upper blade adjustment bracket back to release blade set for zero-gapping.

Remove Blade Assembly

Push down on the front of the blade to remove the blade assembly.
