General Purpose DM-20 Digital Interface
The DM-20 can be used to provide 20 general purpose digital inputs and outputs. It is not
necessary to interface the module with an external expansion product to use its
capabilities. Each channel can be used to output as digital signal or read a digital signal
or contact closure. Set the Electrical Type to

.
The DM-20 can be configured as a general purpose digital input. With the addition of an
external reference pull-up resistor, it can be used for sensing contact closures as shown
below:
As a digital output, the DM-20 presents an open collector load directly on the output
terminal. Connect digital devices and LED indicators as shown below:
