MAINTENANCE
AND
INSPECTION
Maintenance will ensure that this radar gives the best possible performanceover a long operating life.
Perform the following preventive maintenance at the correct intervals.

WARNING
I
NEVER inspect
this radar with the POWER switch set to ON. In addition, there
is
a chance of high residual voltage remaining in the equipment even after the power
is
turned
off.
These voltages
MUST
be grounded
or
discharged before starting work
on the equipment. When inspecting the scanner unit, set
both
the
POWER
switch
and the
main
switch on the distribution board to
OFF
and remove
the
motor
fuse.
Post a sign on the
radar
display unit informing other people that the
radar
is
under
inspection
so
that there
is
no chance of
a
third
party
switching
the radar on acciden-
tally.
