The guarantee of operation does not apply to:
– Faults through normal wear, transit damage, damage
due to freezing or damage that has arisen due to
incomplete maintenance.
– Faults or damage caused by abnormal eects, both
from mechanical and environmental standpoints.
– Products installed or used in any other way than that
recommended in the product’s operating and
installation instructions.
– Visual deviations that do not aect functionality such as
corrosion.
– Damage as a result of lightning, electrical voltage
uctuations or other electrical interference.
– Repairs performed by a third party, which have not
been communicated and agreed in advance with Jula
service personnel.
– Repairs and costs that have been incurred for measures
performed by a non-authorised installer/technician/
service technician.
– Products, component parts, couplings, connections and
other components, not included with the product at the
time of purchase.
– Consumables such as lters or batteries, etc.
– Cleaning, lter replacement, lling of uids in the
heating and cooling medium systems, and other
services, not considered as maintenance.
– Consequential damages and indirect damage to
property other than the product.
– Personal injury, loss of property, such as loss of
business, or loss resulting from downtime etc.
– Compensation for any increased energy consumption
caused by product or installation faults.
– Products sold at a lower price due to reduced
functionality or where the product and its functionality
in any way deviates from the original.
GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please carefully read and follow the operating, maintenance and
assembly instructions supplied with the product.
The following guarantee terms and conditions comprise 416–121.
• The product’s guarantee of operation does not aect your
statutory rights, but applies in addition to the Swedish Sales
of Goods Act. During the guarantee period, which applies
from the original date of purchase, Jula reserves the right to
repair or replace the product with an equivalent replacement
product. In the event of any dispute, Jula observes
recommendations issued by the Swedish National Board for
Consumer Disputes (ARN).
• In order for the product to satisfy the conditions for Jula’s
guarantee of operation, your heat pump and the
corresponding installation must be registered at
www.hefosjula.se/garantiregistrering
no later than 30 days after commissioning (only applies to
products sold and installed in Sweden or Norway).
• The installation protocol (enclosed in the product manual)
must, for the installation/commissioning, be completed by
the employed installer and saved by you the customer.
• The signed Installation protocol must be shown for claimed
guarantee work, repairs or other service measures when
requested by Jula. Without product registration and a signed
Installation protocol the product does not full the
conditions for Jula’s guarantee of operation.
• Jula provides a 6-year guarantee of operation on the
compressor and 2-year guarantee of operation on other
parts of the product, from the purchase date.
• For commercial operations, a 6-year guarantee of operation
on the compressor and 1-year guarantee of operation on
other parts of the product apply from the date of purchase.
• Jula’s guarantee of operation applies to rectify faults caused
by material or production faults established by Jula and
comprises only products that have been sold and installed in
countries where Jula AB are represented. Jula’s guarantee of
operation does not apply in the event of handling errors or
gives entitlement to any economical compensation.
• Products, and component parts, which during the guarantee
period, have been changed or replaced do not extend the
original guarantee period.
• Relevant proof of purchase must be shown for demanded
guarantee work, repairs or other service measures. As well
as a certicate proving that the product has been installed
and commissioned professionally and has been serviced by
an approved installer or service technician, in accordance
with the refrigerant provisions, local regulations, and the
operating, maintenance and installation instructions
supplied with the product.
