• Check and tighten the connections within
24 hours. The refrigerant connections
must be tightened to 18 Nm. Use a torque
wrench if in doubt. Make sure that the
indoor unit and outdoor unit have the
same model designation.
• The heat pump is not intended to be used
by persons (children or adults) with any
form of functional disorders, or by persons
who do not have sucient experience or
knowledge on how to use it, unless they
have received instructions concerning the
use of the heat pump from someone who
is responsible for their safety. Keep
children under supervision to make sure
they do not play with the heat pump.
• A damaged power cord must be replaced
by an authorised service centre, or
qualied person, to ensure safe use.
• The heat pump uses R410A refrigerant,
which is among the most energy-ecient
on the market. The compressor is inverter-
controlled, which produces a higher level
of eciency.
• The system monitors the energy need and
the frequency converter adjusts the speed
of the compressor for optimal energy
eciency.
• The control system's microprocessor and
software deliver optimum operation
under all conditions.
• Vibration-damping mounts and bushings
ensure quiet operation.
• Status indicator lamps make monitoring
easy.
• The heat pump has a soft start function.
• After a power cut, the heat pump restarts
automatically with the former settings.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• New installations and the expansion of
existing systems may only be performed
by a qualied electrician.
• Individuals with sucient knowledge may
replace switches and wall sockets, t
plugs, extension cords and lamp bases.
Consult an authorised electrician if in
doubt. Incorrect installation can cause re
and/or electric shock.
GENERAL
• Connection to a water pipe system may
only be performed by an authorised
plumbing engineer.
• The refrigeration installation must be
carried out by an authorised installer. The
information in the item list below must be
observed.
• The installation requires the handling of
refrigerant and according to legal
requirements (F--Gas Regulation EU
517/2014) this must be performed by an
accredited refrigeration technician.
• Refrigerant pipes must not be bent to a
radius of less than 15 cm.
• Do not connect the heat pump to the
mains supply until the pipes have been
connected, the system modules have
been connected together and the system
has been lled with water and vented.
• The units are heavy and have sharp
edges. Use the correct lifting technique
when handling. Wear safety glasses and
safety gloves.
• Do not remove the plastic plugs on the
pipe ends until just before connecting the
pipes.
