The Apart OVO5P is an active speaker set designed to deliver high-quality audio for various applications, particularly suited for AV monitor setups. This speaker set is engineered with careful attention to detail to ensure excellent musical quality, crystal clear voice reproduction, and a high sound level output. It comprises an active speaker, which serves as the left channel, and a passive slave speaker, functioning as the right channel. The amplification for both channels is conveniently integrated within the active (left) speaker, simplifying the setup and reducing clutter.

One of the primary usage features of the OVO5P speaker set is its versatility in installation. The cabinets are constructed from molded ABS, providing durability and a sleek aesthetic. Each speaker is equipped with custom-made painted metal brackets, facilitating easy wall mounting. These brackets are designed to allow the speakers to rotate both vertically and horizontally, offering a wide range of possible installation angles. This flexibility ensures optimal sound dispersion and integration into any room layout. For mounting the speakers parallel to the wall, a special plastic wedge is included, enhancing installation options. Without the wedge, the speakers can be angled downwards at various vertical degrees, further customizing the sound projection. Beyond wall mounting, the OVO5P speakers can also be placed freestanding, offering additional flexibility for users who prefer not to mount them. The OVO5P is designed for indoor use only. It's important to note that these speakers are not magnetically shielded. The active speaker also features several indicator LEDs for operational status and safety. A power LED lights up green when the power cord is connected to a working AC outlet and the power switch is turned on, confirming that the unit is receiving power. Crucially, there are also clip indicator LEDs for both the left and right channels (Clip LED L and Clip LED R). These red LEDs illuminate when their respective channels are overloaded, serving as a vital warning against potential damage to the speakers or distortion in the audio. Users are advised to reduce the volume immediately if these clip LEDs light up during use, ensuring optimal sound quality and protecting the equipment.
