Summary

1. Install Power Supply

Remove Side Panel Thumbscrews

Locate and remove thumbscrews on the rear right side of the case to begin disassembly.

Release Side Panel

Grasp the notch on the side panel edge and pull to detach it from the chassis.

Mount Power Supply

Install the power supply unit below the mounting ledges at the bottom interior of the case.

Align and Secure Power Supply

Ensure the PSU is correctly installed and aligned with screw mounts before fastening.

2. Install Motherboard

Select Motherboard Standoffs

Refer to motherboard hole index for correct standoff placement based on form factor (ATX, Micro-ATX, etc.).

Install I/O Shield

Fit the I/O shield into the case's rear opening, ensuring holes align with motherboard connectors.

Install Motherboard Standoff Screws

Place standoff screws and align motherboard to mount to the case.

Water Cooling Mount Points

Case accommodates water cooling; punch out marked areas. Thread wires through designated spots.

3. Install 3½" and 5¼" Drives

Prepare for Optical Drive Installation

Remove drive bay covers by pinching tabs, then remove the metal shield behind each cover.

Install 5.25-inch Drives

Align 5.25" devices with drive bays and insert. Wiggle to ensure flush fit with the front panel.

Install 3.5-inch Drives

Align drive screw holes with bay holes, click latch closed. Use screws for bottom bays.

Attach Hard Drive Rails

For hard disk drives, attach mounting rails to both sides of the drive.

Insert Hard Drive with Rails

Align the hard drive with rails into the drive bay and insert it securely.

Install 2.5-inch Hard Drive

A 2.5" hard drive can be installed at the bottom of the case, beneath the 3.5" drive cage.

Secure Bottom Drive

Fasten the bottom drive in place using screws indicated by red circles.

4. Install PCI Components

Remove PCI Slot Covers

Carefully remove PCI slot covers by inserting a flat object and pulling at a diagonal angle.

Install PCI Expansion Card

Consult expansion card documentation. Install into the correct slot (x1, x16) on the motherboard.

Secure PCI Card

Once the card is firmly seated, secure it in the appropriate hole with a screw.

5. Fan Installation and Setup

Connect Fan Power

Fans have male/female connectors. Connect directly to PSU or daisy-chain them together.

Use Fan Speed Controller

Connect daisy-chained fans to 'OUTPUT' connector. Route 7-wire connector to power supply.

Adjust Airflow with Controller

Use front panel knob to regulate airflow and fan noise. Read fan speed from the gauge.

6. Temperature Probe Setup

Locate Temperature Probe

Identify the device temperature probe included with the system.

Mount Probe on Heatsink

Place probe on CPU heatsink fins and tape securely. Use thermal tape for best results.

Monitor Hard Drive Temperature

Place probe on the hard-drive's surface for temperature monitoring. Use thermal tape for optimal readings.

View Temperature on LCD

Device temperatures can be monitored via the front panel LCD display.

7. Connect Case Leads to Motherboard

Identify Front Panel Leads

Locate front panel leads (USB, Audio, etc.). Consult motherboard manual for pinout schematics; triangular markings indicate positive wires.

Connect USB and Audio Cables

Connect USB 3.0/2.0 and audio connectors to the appropriate motherboard headers.

8. Complete the Installation

Verify VU Gauge Functionality

After audio connection, VU gauge shows sound beat. Adjust sensitivity with the front panel controller knob.

Power Front Panel Gauges

Connecting the fan controller powers all three front panel gauges.

Reassemble Case Panels

Once all components are installed, gently reattach side panels and replace screws.

9. USB/Audio Cable Pin Assignments

USB 3.0 Pin Assignments
