FILTER INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
In order to install the filter (7) lift the lid by pushing the lid opening button (1). Place the filter (7) in a
special place, in the upper middle part inside the kettle. Grab the filter by the grip as illustrated in
the picture below and insert it into the special opening located inside the kettle on the water inlet
side until a click is heard confirming that the pin has engaged in the opening. In order to remove
the filter put your hand into the kettle and push gently the bottom part of the filter towards the front
wall of the kettle.

SCALE REMOVAL
• Intervals between subsequent scale removal operations depend on water hardness
• soft water (up to 18dH)……..scale removal: every 3 months
• hard water (over 18dH)……..scale removal: every month
• Do not use vinegar, but accessible in trade agents on a base of citric acid. Use amounts given
in instruction.
CLEANING
• Always disconnect the appliance before cleaning and make sure the plug has been removed
from the socket.
• Kettle housing and the power cord can be cleaned with soft, dry cloth with no additional agents.
Do not immerse the kettle and the base in water.
• Regular cleaning of the filter is recommended. The filter can be cleaned with soft, nylon brush
under running water.
