Reverting and saving preferences
There are three buttons at the bottom of the Preferences
window—Revert Panel, Cancel, and OK.
m Revert Panel restores the previously saved settings for the
currently displayed preferences category.
m Cancel closes the Preferences window without saving any
changes that have been made to the settings.
m OK closes the Preferences window and saves the current
settings to the preferences file. The new settings take effect
immediately and remain in effect until you change them
again.
