move

cursor
In
programs thai have a cursor, the cursor's initial position

The
cursor moves

you
type. In
many
programs,
particularly
word
processing programs,
the
cursor moves
to
the
nexIline
automatically,
when
it
reaches
the
end
of
a line (you don't
have to press Rerum). This is called
wraparound.
Arrow keys
You can move the cursor
to
a different position
by
pressing the
appropriate
arrow
key,

in
the bottom-right corner
of
the
keyboard. Pressing
Up
Arrow moves the cursor
one
line up.
Pressing
Down
Arrow moves the cursor
one
line
down.
Pressing !.eft
Arrow moves the cursor
one
character
to
the

moves the cursor
one
characler to
the
right.

so

reprogrammed
certain keys
for vertical
cursor
movements.
Different
programmers
chose
different ways
to
do
this.

take
advantage

the
arrow
keys, check

movement
commands.
