The greetings program
generally
is assigned
the
filename HELLO,
however, any
filename
can be used.
Configuration
INIT
filename*

, Vx, Dx]
filename refers
to
the
name assigned
to
the
greetings program
(generally HELLO). S,
V, and
Dare
the
slot,
volume
, and
drive
identifiers
respectively.
The first step in
initializing
a diskette
is
to
boot
DOS.
Once
DOS
has
been
booted
, remove
the
System Master Diskette
from
drive
1 and
replace
it
with
the
diskette
to
be
initialized
.
Then, type
NEW
to
clear
the
memory
, and key in
your
greetings program.
The
following
is
a
typical
