Disk Drive
A floppy disk system
is
a
much
more
efficient
means
of
data
storage
than
is
a
cassette
recorder
system.
The
name
of
the
floppy
disk system
used
by
the
Apple
lie
is
the
Disk
II.
The
Disk
II
system
includes
a disk
drive,
disk
controller
card,
and
a
cable
used
to
connect
the
disk
controller
card
to
the
disk drive.

The
Disk
I l's
controller
card
is
installed in
one
of
the
expansion
slots
in
the
lle's
main
board.
The

ll's
operation
and

Printers
A
printer
can
be
connected
to
the
Apple
I le
either
via a serial
interface
card
or
a parallel
interface
card
.
The
type
of
card
used
depends
on
whether
the
printer
being
connected
is
a serial
or
parallel
device.
