The next tab is Spotlight search in spotlight search you can change the settings of your

Next is the auto-lock feature. The auto-lock feature can save you tons of battery during
the school day. This feature automatically puts your iPad into the standby state to help
preserve battery life. You can change the time on the auto-lock feature from 2 to 15

Restrictions:!
In restrictions you can restrict certain apps on your iPod such as the Internet. This will
mainly be used if you are allowing your iPad to be used by a child.!

Use Slide Switch To:!
Next is, "Use Side Switch to". Here you can switch the side switch to either lock rotation
or Mute. If you switch it to Mute, "which will automatically mute all sounds on your iPad.
If you switch it to rotation, it will disable your iPad screen from rotating.!

Multitasking Gestures: !
It's a new technology! You can use multitask gestures to flick between and close apps.
The directions for the multitask features are below multitasking gestures. This is very
handy for school uses because you can switch between notes and Internet documents.
If you would like to turn this feature off switch the multitask gestures to off. !

Date & Time:!
Next is date and time. If you would like to switch your clock to military time, turn on 24
hour clock. If you like to set your clock manually, turn set automatically off. You can now
change your time zone as well as your time and the date. !

Keyboard [& International]:!
Next in general settings is keyboard. On keyboard you can change things such as auto
capitalization, auto correction and auto capitalization. You can also set shortcuts for
your typing. This is very good for taking notes. It will automatically transform shortcuts
such as "OMW" To ""On My Way".To add new shortcuts click add new shortcut, type in
