Are you fitting this April enclosure to an April
shower tray?
The Lifetime Product Guarantee is only valid
when an April enclosure is fitted with an April
shower tray and are used and maintained in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions
(guarantee excludes seals and magnets).
When April enclosures are used with any other
shower tray the guarantee period is limited to
10 years.

This Side panel can fit with the Sliding door, Hinge door,
Pivot door, Bi-fold door and Inline panel etc.

followed carefully to ensure a proper and safe installation. Failure to follow these instructions could result in future
injury.
These instructions and list of parts assume that installation is done against solid/tiled walls.
Please check this product for damage prior to starting the installation. No claims can be made after the product has
been fitted.
PLEASE NOTE :The minimum and maximum adjustment sizes noted on the product brochures are based on
perfectly plumb walls and trays.

Function Description

The April shower enclosure side panel is designed to be installed with various April shower doors, including sliding, hinge, pivot, bi-fold, and inline panels, to create a complete shower enclosure. It forms part of a system that provides a watertight and functional showering space. The installation process involves assembling the frame, fixing it to the wall and shower tray, and sealing the enclosure to prevent leaks.

• Construction: Features glass panels and aluminum profiles.
• Fixing Kit Components: Includes cover strip profile, corner post top caps (L/R), vertical profile top cap, and screws ST 4X12. The fixing kit also contains additional components like corner post top cover caps, upright profile top cover cap, and round head tapping screws (4x12, 4 pcs).
• Drill Bit Sizes: Requires a 6mm masonry drill bit and a 3.2mm HSS drill bit for installation.
• Screw Sizes: Uses screws ST3.9x30 for fixing the frame to the glass panel, screws ST4x30 for fixing the recess wall profile to the wall, and screws ST4x12 for fixing the frame to wall profiles and side panel.
• Wall Plug Size: 8mm wall plugs are required for fixing the wall profiles.
• Minimum Wall Extension: Tiles or wall finishing should extend at least to the corner of the tray and a minimum of 1.9 meters from the top of the tray.
• Shower Tray Requirement: The shower tray must be 100% level in all directions and properly sealed to the wall. The wall must be tiled down to the top edge of the tray, and the bottom tile should not angle out. The tray must be fully sealed around where it meets the wall.
• Sealant: Silicone sealant is used for sealing the enclosure.

It is important to avoid surfactants, heavily perfumed products, and abrasive scrubbing cleaners or equipment to prevent damage to the coating. Vinegar and water-based products are highly effective.
• Warranty: The product comes with a Limited 5-year Warranty for Clean & Clear™ treatment, provided that basic manufacturer maintenance recommendations are followed and no harsh or abrasive cleaners are used.
• Sealant Curing Time: After sealing, the enclosure should not be used for 24 hours to allow the silicone sealant to cure properly.
