Usage Features:

  • Installation Process:
    1. Assembly of Glass Panels and Profiles: Silicone is applied to the grooves of the rail profiles and pre-fitted seals. Top and bottom profiles (No.4,5) are pushed onto the fixed glass panels (No.6,No.7), ensuring they are fully pushed into the gaskets (No.22,23). It may be easier to push the curved edge of the fixed glass panel into the gasket first.
    2. Attaching Profile Caps and Fixing Panels: Horizontal profile caps (No.12,13) are attached. Fixed panels are then secured to the horizontal rails using 2×ST3.5×45 screws through the metal profile. This process is repeated for both top and bottom horizontal rails. Silicone is applied to the corners of the profile caps and horizontal profiles for sealing.
    3. Frame Placement and Marking: Wall profiles (No.1) are pushed onto the assembled frame. The frame is placed onto the shower tray and leveled using a spirit level. Once correctly positioned, the wall is marked through the 4 pre-drilled screw holes in the wall profiles. Masking tape can be used to aid marking and drilling.
    4. Drilling and Wall Plug Insertion: The wall profiles are removed, and the marked points are drilled using a 6mm masonry drill bit. 8 wall plugs (No.27) are then inserted.
    5. Frame Repositioning and Fixing: The frame is repositioned, and both wall profiles are fixed to the wall using 8 × ST4.0 × 30 screws (No.29).
    6. Frame Adjustment: The frame is adjusted to ensure it is central between the wall profiles and level against the shower tray at the base.
    7. Securing Frame to Wall Profiles: 4 equally spaced holes are drilled with a 3mm drill bit through the wall profiles into the frame. The frame is then fixed to the wall profiles using ST3.5 × 10 screws (No.28 - 4 per wall profile).
    8. Roller Installation and Door Hanging: Top and bottom rollers are fixed onto the door panels. The door is hung by lifting it and guiding the top rollers (No.19) into the top horizontal profile (No.4). The quick release mechanism on the bottom rollers (No.20) is then used to guide them into the bottom horizontal profile (No.5).
    9. Roller Adjustment: If the wheels do not fit or the door does not close satisfactorily, the top roller can be adjusted using the adjustment screw in the top rollers (No.19).
    10. Seal Installation: Any excess silicone from Step 1 is removed. The shorter vertical seal (NO.24) is pushed onto the fixed glass panels (No.6,7). The longer vertical seal (NO.25) is pushed onto the back edge of the moving glass panels (No.8).
    11. Magnetic Strip Installation: The magnetic strip (NO.26) is pushed onto the front edge of the moving glass panels (No.8).
    12. Handle Installation: The handle (No.21) is fixed to the door panels (No.8).
    13. Cover Strip Installation: Once the installation is correct, the cover strip is pushed onto the wall profile.
    14. Top Cap Installation: The top caps are fitted.
    15. Final Sealing: Small holes at the end of the fixed glass panel are plugged with silicone, and glass clips are inserted.
  • Silicone Sealing:
    • Inside: Seal from the top of the wall profile to the bottom on the INSIDE between the wall profile and the wall. IMPORTANT: Do not apply sealant on the inside of the tray.
    • Outside: Seal from the top of the wall profile to the bottom between the wall profile and tiles on both sides. Also, seal along the bottom where the frame meets the tray and the joints between the bottom profile and any upright profiles.
  • Post-Installation Wait Time: Do not use the enclosure for 24 hours after sealing to allow the silicone to cure.
  • Shower Head Positioning: For reliable, watertight performance, the shower head should not be positioned to spray directly onto the enclosure door.
  • Outward Opening Doors: Be aware that outward opening doors may cause water to drip onto the floor; ensure the floor covering outside the enclosure will not be affected.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning Instructions:
    • Clean the enclosure after every use.
    • Wipe down all glass and metal parts with a clean, soft cloth.
    • Ensure all residual water on the glass is removed after every use.
  • Clean & Clear™ Easy Clean Glass Treatment:
    • The product is treated with Clean & Clear™ easy clean glass treatment, which creates a 'non-stick' surface to resist limescale buildup and water spots.
    • Aftercare for Clean & Clear™ glass:
      • Can be cleaned with any suitable non-abrasive glass cleaner with a PH value between 3-11. The coating will not be damaged.
      • Avoid surfactants and heavily perfumed products.
      • Vinegar and water-based products are very effective.
      • Do not use abrasive scrubbing cleaners or equipment for cleaning.
  • Warranty for Clean & Clear™ treatment: Limited 5-year warranty to guarantee treated surfaces remain more repellent than untreated glass, provided basic manufacturer maintenance recommendations are followed and no harsh or abrasive cleaners are used.
