3.4. ENGINE
3.4.1. REMOVING THE ENGINE
WARNING
Before proceeding with these operations, re-
member that the engine must be removed
downwards from the frame. Arrange the neces-
sary equipment accordingly.
• Remove the rear fairing – see 3.5.7 (REMOVING THE
REAR COWLING).
• Unscrew and remove the lower bolt that fixes the shock
absorber to the engine.
• Unscrew and remove brake lever adjuster.
• Remove the rear brake cable
• Disconnect the gas cable.
• Release the clamps and disconnect the fuel supply and
vacuum pipes from the fuel pump.
