Why does Aqua Systems Water Filtration Systems control valve regenerates at wrong time?
    • S
      Steven NixonAug 9, 2025
If your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System control valve regenerates at the wrong time, this could be due to a few reasons. Power outages can cause this, so reset the control valve to the correct time of day. Make sure the time of day is set correctly. Also, check that the regeneration time is set correctly. Verify the control valve is not set at 'on 0' (immediate regeneration) by checking the control valve set-up procedure regeneration time option. Also check if the control valve is not set at NORMAL + on 0, using the same procedure.

Why Aqua Systems Water Filtration Systems timer does not display correct time of day?
    • L
      leon27Aug 15, 2025
If the timer on your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System does not display the correct time of day, it might be due to a switched outlet; use an uninterrupted outlet. A power outage could also be the reason; in this case, reset the time of day. If neither of these solutions work, the PC board might be defective, requiring a replacement.

What to do if Aqua Systems Eradicator II AIF Water Filtration Systems shows no softening or filtering when water is flowing?
    • P
      Patrick WalkerAug 20, 2025
If your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System isn't showing softening or filtering when water is flowing, first, ensure the bypass valve is in the service position, not the bypass position. Check if the meter connection is disconnected and connect the meter to the PC board. Inspect the meter turbine for restrictions or stalling, removing the meter to check for rotation or any foreign material. If the meter is defective, it should be replaced. Finally, a defective PC board could also be the cause, requiring replacement.

How to fix Aqua Systems Eradicator II AIF timer when it does not display time of day?
    • J
      juandeckerAug 27, 2025
If the timer on your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System isn't showing the time of day, check if the transformer is unplugged and connect the power. Ensure there is electric power at the outlet; repair the outlet or use a working one. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the transformer or PC board may be defective, requiring replacement.

What to do if Aqua Systems Eradicator II AIF shows a system error?
    • D
      Daniel EvansNov 2, 2025
If your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System displays 'ERROR' on a red screen, it could be due to several reasons. First, if the control valve was recently serviced, try pressing NEXT and REGEN for 3 seconds, or unplug the power source (black wire) and plug it back in to reset the control valve. Another cause might be foreign matter lodged in the control valve; inspect the piston and spacer stack assembly. High drive forces on the piston can also trigger this error, requiring replacement of the piston(s) and spacer stack assembly. Ensure the control valve piston is in the home position by performing the reset procedure. Check the motor and its wiring, replacing the motor if needed. Inspect the drive gear for dirt, damage, or missing labels, replacing or cleaning as necessary. Verify that t...
