AQPC-435
TFC Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System
Tested and Certified by NSF International against
NSF/ANSI Standard 58 for the reduction of the claims
specied on the Performance Data Sheet.
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
This reverse osmosis system contains replaceable treatment components critical for effective performance.
It is the user's responsibility to, and the manufacturer strongly recommends that the user, periodically
test the product water to verify the system is performing satisfactorily. See the test kit(s) for sampling
instructions.
This system is acceptable for treatment of inuent concentrations of no more than 27 mg/L nitrate and 3
mg/L nitrite in combination measured as N and is certied for nitrate/nitrite reduction only for water supplies
with a pressure of 280 kPa (40 psig) or greater.
This system conforms to NSF/ANSI Standard 58 for pentavalent arsenic reduction. See the Performance
Data Sheet Arsenic Facts section for an explanation of reduction performance.
DO NOT USE WITH WATER THAT IS MICROBIOLOGICALLY UNSAFE OR OF UNKNOWN QUALITY,
WITHOUT ADEQUATE DISINFECTION BEFORE OR AFTER THE SYSTEM.
Systems certied for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain lterable cysts.

Why does drain water overflow at Aqua Systems PureChoice AQPC-435 Water Filtration Systems faucet?
    • F
      Frank GuzmanAug 23, 2025
If your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System's drain water is overflowing at the dispensing faucet, it could be due to several reasons. The air gap might be blocked, so clear the air gap. The drain tubing might be clogged, so clear the tubing. The drain clamp hole might be misaligned, so align it with the hole in the drain pipe. Lastly, there might be an excessive drain flow rate, in which case you should replace the drain restrictor.

How to remove bad taste from Aqua Systems Water Filtration Systems?
    • K
      Kevin ThomasAug 27, 2025
If you notice tastes and odors in the product water from your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System, several factors could be responsible. The in-line or activated carbon prefilter might be exhausted, requiring replacement. There could be foreign matter in the holding tank, so clean, flush, and sanitize the system, and replace the filters. Ensure that the product water and drain water lines are not reversed by correcting the plumbing. Dissolved gasses in the feed water can also cause this issue, requiring pretreatment of the feed water to remove them. Finally, an increase in product water TDS can contribute to tastes and odors, so refer to the high TDS in the product water section for guidance.

What to do if Aqua Systems PureChoice AQPC-435 fitting leaks?
    • T
      Tina HamiltonSep 3, 2025
To address fitting leaks in your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System, first close the feed water saddle valve and relieve the pressure before disconnecting any tubing or replacing any fitting. Before replacing a fitting, try re-cutting the tubing and re-inserting it into the fitting to see if that resolves the leak. If pipe threads are leaking, remove the fitting and reapply Teflon tape.

What causes high TDS in Aqua Systems Water Filtration Systems?
    • M
      Mr. Leroy GarciaSep 7, 2025
If you're experiencing high total dissolved solids (TDS) in the product water of your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System, it could be due to several reasons. The sediment prefilter or activated carbon prefilter might be clogged, so replace the filters. Ensure that the water pressure is above 40 psig. The R.O. membrane O-ring might be crimped, so check the O-ring. The R.O. membrane brine seal might not be sealing up into the manifold head, so check the brine seal. The R.O. membrane might be expended, so if the membrane life is unusually short, find and correct the problem, then replace the membrane.

How to troubleshoot low water quantity from Aqua Systems PureChoice AQPC-435 Water Filtration Systems holding tank?
    • T
      tina57Nov 11, 2025
If you're experiencing a low quantity of product water from your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System holding tank, several factors could be at play. Start by checking if the feed water saddle valve is either plugged or closed; if so, open or unclog it. Next, examine the sediment prefilter or activated carbon prefilter for clogs and replace them if needed. Ensure that your feed water pressure is above 40 psig. The R.O. membrane might be fouled, so inspect and correct the cause of fouling, replacing the membrane if necessary. Also, a plugged in-line activated carbon post filter could be the culprit, requiring replacement. Check that the air precharge pressure in the holding tank is within the 5–7 psig (35–48 kPa) range after emptying the tank and opening the faucet. A ruptured air bladder i...

Start by checking the sediment prefilter or activated carbon prefilter for clogs and replace the filters if necessary. Ensure that the water pressure is above 40 psig. Inspect the R.O. membrane O-ring to ensure it is not crimped and check the brine seal. If the membrane life is unusually short, identify and correct the problem before replacing the membrane. Also, ensure that the product water and drain water lines are correctly plumbed. Check the drain restrictor for clogs and clear or replace it if needed. Similarly, inspect the drain orifice in the dispensing faucet for blockages and clear or replace it. If the ASO valve is not...

What to do if low pressure at Aqua Systems PureChoice AQPC-435 Water Filtration Systems dispensing faucet?
    • J
      James JimenezNov 19, 2025
If you are experiencing low pressure at the dispensing faucet of your Aqua Systems Water Filtration System, the following issues could be the cause. The in-line activated carbon post filter might be plugged and needs replacement. The air precharge in the holding tank could be too low; to fix this, empty the water from the holding tank and, with the faucet open, adjust the air pressure to be within the range of 5–7 psig (35–48 kPa). The holding tank valve might be partially closed, so ensure it is fully open. The dispensing faucet itself could be out of adjustment or faulty, requiring repair or replacement. If there has been heavy water use, the holding tank might be depleted; allow it time to refill, or consider adding a second holding tank to increase storage capacity. It's also possible ...
