Part Designation Note
A Water inlet A pressure hose connects the pump to the water inlet.
B Vortex system
With the help of centrifugal and gravitational forces, the water
penetrates the filter media.
C Mechanical Filter
Dirt particles stuck to the surface of the filter sponges before the
water flows further into the filter.
D Biological Cleaning
Microorganisms settle on the pores of the filter sponges. The blue
and yellow filter sponges differ in size and density. This creates zones
through which the water flows at different speeds. The zones with a
high flow rate (blue filters) are mainly colonised by micro-organisms
that convert ammonium into nitrate. In the faster flow zones (yellow
filters), mainly anaerobic microorganisms gather.
E Cleaning of the pond water microorganisms that reduce nitrate to nitrogen.
F Water outlet with flow indicator The cleaned water flows back into the pond.
G Drain for rinse water during cleaning (GPF-2500-5000-10000-15000-20000-30000)
H Function switch for switching between "filter" and "clean filter".
I Cleaning handle (GPF-2500-5000-10000-15000-20000-30000)
