Avoid electric shock by taking precautions with water and equipment, especially during repairs or leaks.
Includes supervision, avoiding moving/hot parts, unplugging when not in use, proper usage, and secure installation.
Unpack the sump and remove inlet fittings from the filter sock before installation.
Ensure hose connections are tight, fill chamber 1 to overflow, then fill chamber 3 to 1-2 inches above the pump.
Mark the water level after running the pump and after shutting it off to check for siphoning.
Calculate and mark the maximum safe water level to prevent overflows during power outages.
