1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Control box 4668 is an electric device allowing - when connected to a suitable control unit (e.g. 863
series) - to manage all stages of agricultural spraying jobs, directly from the cabin of the farming
machine it is installed on.
Depending on the model, the control boxes of this series can be connected to control
units equipped with 3-wire valves or solenoid valves.
1.1 Intended use
This device has been designed for installation on agricultural machinery for crop spraying
and spraying applications.
2 PRECAUTIONS
- Never expose the equipment to water jets.
- Never use solvents or petrol to clean the external parts of the container.
- Comply with the specic power supply voltage (12 Vdc).
- In case of electric arc welding, make sure that the power supply to the device is discon-
nected; if necessary, disconnect the power supply cables.
- Use only original ARAG spare parts or accessories.
3 INSTALLATION
3.1 Fitting the control box (Fig. 1)
1) Fasten gatebracket with screws.
2) Push the control box into the gatebracket up to block it.
3.2 Connecting the control box (Fig. 2)
For the harness connection please refer to the labels on the cables (Fig. 2):

1 ÷ 2 Relative section valve
L / R Adjustable actuators / Guard actuators
Assemble the connector B by following the sequence shown in the gure (Fig. 3).
CAUTION:
Be careful to t the gasket in the correct position.
