ermometer is a fast, accurate and non-intrusive
device for measuring a person’s temperature. is
device is intended for home use only. Point the
thermometer at the person. Ensure the device
is 0.5–1.25 ins (1-3cm) from the forehead. Press
and release the activation button once and hold
the thermometer in position until the backlight
illuminates; a temperature reading is displayed. e
ARC InstaTemp™ is fast, accurate and designed to
allow the person to rest undisturbed.
e ARC InstaTemp™ must not come into contact
with a person when measuring temperature. e ARC
InstaTemp™ thermometer cannot take an accurate
body temperature reading from anywhere other than
the forehead and should not be used to do so. is
