Operating Temperature
Operational in 50-104°F (10-40°C) environment.
Allow 20 minutes for the device to settle for each 5°F
change outside the operational environment.
Storage/Transport Temperature
Please store the device within the temperature range:
45 to 90°F (7-32°C) .
Measurement Accuracy (Laboratory Error)
ASTM laboratory accuracy requirements in the
display range 98.6°F to 102.2°F (37.0°C to 39.0°C)
for IR thermometers is +/-0.4°F (+/-0.2°C) within the
operating temperature range of 59°F to 95°F (15°C
to 35°C ) per ASTM standard 1965-98. Whereas
for Mercury in glass and electronic thermometers,
the requirement per ASTM Standards E667-86 and
E1112-86 is +/-0.2°F (+/- 0.1°C).
