To update via network:
• Navigate to “Firmware Update” in the Settings Menu.
• Press OK.
To update via USB:
USA and Canada:
• Unzip the file named “B2BBB9DCC1CB.fup” and put onto a memory stick (so it is the only file
on the stick).
• Turn on the CDS50 and wait for the unit to fully start.
• Insert the memory stick in the USB port, located in the rear of the CDS50.
• The upgrade file will be detected, then follow the VFD prompts.
• Once the update has been completed, remove the memory stick.
Rest of the world:
• Unzip the file named “B2BBB9DCC1CB.fup” and put onto a memory stick (so it is the only file
on the stick).
• Turn on the CDS50 and wait for the unit to fully start.
• Insert the memory stick in the USB port, located in the rear of the CDS50.
• The upgrade file will be detected, then follow the VFD prompts.
• Once the update has been completed, remove the memory stick.
