WARMER WEATHER OPERATION
Air Flow Derection Downward. Speed Medium to Full Speed. In warmer weather,
your ceiling fan will let you reduce your use of air conditioning, keeping the air
moving to help keep you cool.
COOL WEATHER OPERATION
Air Flow Derection Upward. Speed Low to Medium.
In cooler weather upward airflow reduces drafts while moving butter air off the
ceiling. The exact speed will depend on the size of the room, number of fan,
ceiling height, etc. It should be fast enough to break up the air stratification, but
slow so as not to create a breeze.
INSTALLATION OF FAN
MOUNTING FAN
1. Using two screws fasten hanger plate or J hook to ceiling outlet box as shown

2. Place stem into ceiling cup. Pull the wires carefully through stem without
damaging the fan wires.
3. Insert stem into fan and align through-holes for hanging rod. Insert cotter pin
into hole and bend back the ends to fasten. To avoid rattle, make sure ends
of cotter pin do not rest on motor housing as shown in Fig.2
HANGING FAN
A. FOR SINGLE J HOOK HANGING SYSTEM

2. Be certain rubber roller is full locked into position, i.e. no metal contact as
shown in Fig.4.
3. Slide the ceiling canopy up and fix canopy to its position by tightening screw
