- Chrome Parts: Clean with soft materials; avoid abrasive compounds, harsh chemicals, hard objects, blades, or screwdrivers to prevent damage or scratches.
- Acrylic Surfaces: Clean with a soft sponge and a detergent free of ammonia, acetone, or other harsh chemicals to prevent dulling or damage. Dulled surfaces can be refinished with an acrylic polishing compound.
- Whirlpool System Cleaning:
- Monthly cleaning with a whirlpool cleaning solution from a local hardware store is recommended.
- If black flakes appear in the bath, the system needs repeated cleaning until they disappear.
- Alternatively, a cup of chlorine bleach (sodium hypochlorite) with minimum warm/hot water can be used to activate the whirlpool system between regular cleanings. Thoroughly flush and rinse the bathtub and whirlpool system before use.
- General Warnings:
- Do not use cleaning materials other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Any service, adjustment, or repair should only be performed by an experienced and licensed professional.
- Avoid using bath oils in whirlpool bathtubs as residue can stick to surfaces and plumbing.
