This document is a user manual for a Whirlpool D-series with Bluetooth, branded "ARIEL". It provides comprehensive instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance of the whirlpool system.
Function Description
The Whirlpool D-series with Bluetooth is a sophisticated bathing appliance designed to provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience. It integrates water jets, a heater, an air pump, underwater lighting, and a music system with radio and Bluetooth connectivity. The system is controlled via a display panel with various buttons for different functions.
Key Features:
- Water Pump: Provides adjustable water force (1-9 levels) for massage jets. It operates only when the water level is above the temperature sensor and has a standard operating time of 20 minutes before automatically shutting off.
- Heater: Maintains a constant water temperature between 35-43 °C. It activates when the water level is above the sensor and the water temperature is below the set point. The heater automatically stops when the set temperature is reached. A 10-second pump run after heater shutdown ensures cooling.
- Air Pump: Delivers warm air through bottom jets for a bubble effect. It operates for 20 minutes before automatic shutdown. If the water level drops below the sensor, the air pump stops. After 20 minutes of no water detection, the air pump runs for 1 minute to dry the air jets.
- Underwater Lighting: Features variable colors (C=1 to C=7) and adjustable brightness (B=1 to B=3). Users can cycle through colors automatically or manually select a desired color.
- Music System: Includes an FM radio and Bluetooth connectivity. The radio allows channel search, saving up to 10 preset channels, and volume adjustment (0-19, with 3db default). Bluetooth pairing is done by searching for "Whirlpool" and using password "1234". The system connects only to music channels, pausing streaming for incoming/outgoing calls.
- Faucet Operation: Features a change-over valve for selecting between water jets, hand shower, and waterfall, and a temperature adjustment knob for hot (H) and cold (L) water. An air regulator is also present.
- Channel Memory: Allows users to save and recall preferred settings for various functions.
- Constant Temperature Function: Activates the heater to maintain a desired water temperature.
- Brightness Function: Adjusts the intensity of the underwater light.
- Parameter Setting: Buttons for adjusting various parameters up and down, such as water force, temperature, and volume.
- Safety Features: Includes automatic shutdown after 2 hours, water level sensors to prevent pump/heater operation without sufficient water, and protective devices for leakage, overload, and incorrect voltage.

Maintenance Features
- Cleaning the Whirlpool: Use a soft sponge and a detergent without ammonia and acetone to prevent surface damage.
- Regular Drain Cleaning: Clean the drain regularly to prevent clogging from hair, soap scum, and other debris.
- Chrome Parts Care: Polish chrome parts carefully without abrasive or chemical cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning to avoid scratches.
- Monthly Whirlpool System Cleaning: Use a specific whirlpool cleaner monthly to prevent contamination from lime, soap, grease, oil, hair, bacteria, and dead skin. Regular cleaning prevents black flakes in the bath.
- Professional Installation and Repair: Emphasizes that electrical installation and testing should be performed by an approved electrician. Repairs should only be carried out by installers competent in applying National Regulatory requirements for safety, electrical, and water supply/disposal.
- Pre-Installation Checks: Ensure water inlet, electricity, and drain pipes are ready and suitable. Flush supply pipes before connecting hoses to remove dirt particles.
- Post-Installation Checks: Verify all connections (water, electrical), clean the whirlpool, fill with water above the sensor, and operate the system for at least 10 minutes to check for leaks. Test all functions for proper operation before sealing wall joints.
- Avoid Strong Bath Oils: Advised against using strong bath oils as they can leave residues in the hose system, potentially causing issues over time. If used, specific whirlpool oils are recommended.
- Ventilation: Maintain good ventilation in the room where the product is installed.
- Hose Placement: Ensure hot and cold water hoses do not touch the floor to minimize rust.
