The Aroeve Air Purifier, Model MK04, is designed to enhance indoor air quality by filtering out various airborne particles and pollutants. This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for its safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of the device.
Function Description:
The Aroeve Air Purifier operates by drawing in ambient air, passing it through a multi-stage filtration system, and then releasing cleaner air back into the room. Its primary function is to remove dust, allergens, pet dander, smoke, odors, and other airborne contaminants, thereby creating a healthier indoor environment. The device is equipped with a True HEPA 3-Stage Original Filter, which is pre-installed and crucial for its purification capabilities.
A key feature of the Aroeve Air Purifier is its integrated Dust Sensors. These sensors continuously monitor the level of particulate matter (PMs) in the room and provide real-time feedback on air quality. This information is visually displayed through an Air Quality Indicator Ring located around the Control Panel. The indicator ring illuminates in different colors—blue, yellow, or red—to signify good, moderate, or poor air quality, respectively. This visual cue allows users to quickly assess the air quality in their space and understand the purifier's operational response.
The purifier is designed for indoor use only and is suitable for rooms with temperatures between 40°F and 110°F. It is not intended for outdoor use or in wet/humid environments, nor is it designed to remove carbon monoxide or radon, or to be used as a safety device for combustion processes or hazardous chemicals.
Usage Features:
The Aroeve Air Purifier offers several user-friendly features accessible via its Control Panel:
- ON/OFF Button: A simple tap of the power button turns the purifier on or off. Upon activation, the fan typically starts at Level 1, and the indicator light illuminates. The dust sensor initiates its calibration and measurement process, during which the Air Quality Indicator will pulse between blue, yellow, and red until a stable air quality reading is determined.
- Modes Switch (Fan Speed Control): Users can adjust the fan speed by tapping the mode button, cycling through Level 1, Level 2, and Auto Mode.
- Auto Mode: In this intelligent mode, the air purifier automatically adjusts its fan speed based on the detected air quality. For instance, if the air quality is poor (indicated by a red light), the fan speed will automatically increase to high to expedite purification.
- Timer Setting: The purifier includes a timer function, allowing users to set it to operate for specific durations: 8 hours, 12 hours, or 24 hours. Once the set time elapses, the machine will automatically turn off. The corresponding timer indicator lights on the control panel will show the selected time.
- Sleep Mode: For undisturbed rest, the Sleep Mode reduces the fan speed to a low, quiet setting. In this mode, all indicator lights, except for the sleep mode button and the on/off button, are turned off to minimize light disturbance.
- Display Off/Reset Button: This feature allows users to turn off all display lights on the air purifier, including button lights and the air quality indicator lights (except for the Display off Indicator itself). Tapping this button once turns the display off, and tapping it again or any other button will turn the display back on. This button also serves as the filter reset indicator, which will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter.
- Memory Function: The air purifier is equipped with a memory function. When plugged in, it will recall its previous fan speed and UV setting (if applicable) from the last operation. However, it will not remember timer settings or Sleep Mode settings.
Maintenance Features:
Regular maintenance is crucial for the efficient operation and longevity of the Aroeve Air Purifier.
- Cleaning the Air Purifier: It is recommended to clean the external surfaces of the air purifier at least once every 3 months, or before extended storage. Users should unplug the unit before cleaning and use only a dry cloth. It is explicitly advised not to use water, wax polish, or any chemical solutions. Additionally, the inside of the air purifier should be vacuumed to remove accumulated dust.
- Cleaning the Filter: The outer pre-filter, which is part of the multi-stage filtration system, should be cleaned every 2–4 weeks. This helps to maintain efficiency and extend the overall life of the filter. The pre-filter can be cleaned using a soft brush or a vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and larger particles. Importantly, the filter should not be cleaned with water or other liquids.
- Filter Replacement: The manual emphasizes the importance of removing the plastic packaging from the filter before initial use. The filter cover can be pulled out, the filter removed from its packaging, and then reinserted correctly. The device will indicate when the filter needs replacement, typically after approximately 2000 hours of use, by illuminating the filter reset indicator in red.
- Troubleshooting Red Light After Filter Replacement: If the indicator light remains red after replacing the filter, it could be due to dust accumulation on the infrared sensors or persistently poor air quality. The recommended solution is to run the machine in a clean space for 6-24 hours after filter replacement, allowing the sensor to recalibrate and return to a blue light indication.
- Storage: If the air purifier will not be used for more than 30 days, it is recommended to remove the HEPA Filters and wrap them in an airtight plastic bag. Similarly, the Pre-Filter and Enhanced Odor and VOC Filters should also be removed and stored in an airtight plastic bag.
The manual also provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide to address common issues such as the unit not turning on, reduced airflow, unusual noises, strange smells, and persistent red indicator lights.
