The term “ power tool” in th e warnin gs refe rs to your ba ttery-
opera ted (cordless) power tool .
1. WORK AREA SA FET Y
a) Keep work area clean an d well li t. Clu ttered or dark a reas
invite accidents.
b) Do no t opera te power t ools in explos ive atm ospheres,
such as in the presen ce of flam mabl e liqu ids, g ases or
dust. Power tools create sp arks , which may ignite th e dust
or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a
power to ol. Di strac tions can caus e you to lose c ontrol .
2. EL ECTR ICAL SA FETY

plug in any way. Do no t use any a dapter plug s with e arth ed

b) Avoid body contact wi th ear thed o r grou nded surfac es
such as pipes , radiators , rang es and re frige rator s. The re is
an increased risk of ele ctric s hock if yo ur body i s earthed or
grounded.
c) Do not expose p ower too ls to rai n or wet con diti ons. Wa ter

d) Keep cord inta ct. Do not abu se the cord. N ever use t he
cord fo r carr ying, pulli ng or un plug ging the power t ool.

3. PERSONAL SAFETY
a) Stay alert , watch what you are doin g and us e commo n
sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a powe r
tool whi le you are ti red or un der the i nflue nce of dru gs,
alcoh ol or med ication. A moment of in attention whil e
opera ting powe r tools may result in seriou s pers onal in jury.
b) Use p ersonal pro tective equi pmen t. Always wear eye and
ear protect ion. P rotective equip ment su ch as dus t masks,
non-skid saf ety sho es, ha rd hats , or hea ring pro tectio n used
for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Preve nt unintent iona l star ting . Ensu re the switch is in the
off- posi tion b efore co nnec ting t o the pow er sour ce and/
or battery pa ck, pickin g up or ca rrying the to ol. Carr ying
power too ls with you r finge r on the switch or ene rgizin g
power too ls that have the switch on invites a ccide nts.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wre nch before tu rnin g the
power to ol on. A w rench o r a key left a ttach ed to a rotat ing
part of the power to ol may res ult in pe rsona l injur y.
e) Do not overre ach. Ke ep prop er footi ng and balance a t
all time s. Thi s enabl es better contro l of the powe r tool in
unexpected situations.
f) Dre ss pro perly. Do n ot wear l oose cl othi ng or jewe lry.

part s. Loos e clothe s, jewelry or lo ng hair can be ca ught in
moving parts.
g) If devices are p rovide d for th e conne ctio n of dust
extraction and collecti on faci lities, en sure these ar e
conne cted a nd properly u sed. U se of thes e devices can
reduce dust-related hazards.

Siempre suponga que la herramienta contiene
jaciones. El manejo descuidado de la grapadora

9. Use el dispositivo de carga adecuado. Al cargar,

dispositivo de corriente residual con un corriente residual
(nominal) de 20mA o menos.
NORMAS DE SEGURIDAD ESPECÍFICAS
1. Sostenga la herramienta por las supercies
aisladas de sujeción al efectuar un trabajo en
que la herramienta puede entrar en contacto
con alambres escondidos o con su propio
cordón. El contacto con un alambre bajo tensión hará
que las piezas metálicas expuestas de la herramienta
están también bajo tensión, y se la descarga eléctrica al
usuario.
