Do you have a question about the Aseko ASIN AQUA NET CLF and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The ASIN AQUA Net is an advanced pool water treatment system designed to maintain clean and sparkling water with minimal chemical usage. It offers precise measurement and control of free chlorine content or redox potential, as well as pH levels, ensuring optimal water quality and eliminating issues like chlorine smell and over-treatment. The system integrates with existing pool filtering equipment and can also operate with time-dosing systems for chlorine-free oxygen-based disinfection agents like SANOSIL.

Function Description:

The ASIN AQUA Net provides comprehensive pool water treatment through several key functions:

  • Chlorine Control and Dosing: Utilizes a CLF (free chlorine) or Redox probe for highly effective disinfection. It precisely measures chlorine content and, with its digital intelligence, controls the preset disinfection level by dosing the minimum necessary chemical aids.
  • pH Control and Dosing: Adjustable to dose pH MINUS or pH PLUS, stabilizing pool water acidity at an optimum level. A pH probe combined with the system's digital intelligence controls the preset pH level across various pool operation modes and environmental conditions.
  • Time Dosing (without probe): Allows for sanitation dosing based on volume per hour or day, suitable for chlorine or active oxygen sanitation agents.
  • Integrated Touch Screen Interface: Provides complete control over measurement and regulation, displaying measured and required values, status information, and allowing for parameter adjustments.
  • Web Services (iPool Live): Connects to the internet, enabling remote monitoring and control of the pool via a mobile application (iOS and Android) or a web application (pool.aseko.com). This feature offers detailed information on pool status, events, actions, and monitored item levels for up to 30 days, useful for public pool installations and troubleshooting.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Power Supply: 230 V / 50 Hz
  • Power Consumption: 14 VA
  • Fuse: T80 mA
  • Over-voltage Category: II
  • Ingress Protection: IP50
  • Operating Temperature: +5 to +40°C / 60%
  • Weight: 2.2 kg
  • Installation: Wall mounted
  • Measured and Regulated Values: Free chlorine or Redox, pH
  • Discharge of Dosing Pumps: 60 ml/min / max. 1 bar
  • Measured Water Pressure: max 1.5 bar
  • Maximum Distance of Injection Valves from Peristaltic Pumps: 8 m
  • Vertical Distance between ASIN AQUA Net and Bottom of Containers: Not to exceed 2 m

Usage Features:

  • Installation: Designed for wall mounting in a dry, dust-free environment. Requires a minimum of 40 cm free space in all directions and a maximum height of 150 cm above the floor. Connection to the pool water system is downstream of the pump, upstream of the filter and ZPM (coagulation mixer).
  • Probe Installation: pH, CLF, or REDOX probes are carefully inserted into their housings and hand-tightened using the provided plastic wrench socket. Connectors are then secured.
  • Pool Water Connection: Utilizes Speedfit connecting fittings for secure and leak-free tube connections. Tubes must be cut at a 90° angle with a sharp knife for optimal tightness.
  • Chemicals Connection: Injection valves for individual chemicals are connected to dosing pumps. PE tubes are inserted into canister caps with weights to reach the bottom, ensuring a straight connection to the pump to prevent air bubbles.
  • Commissioning Procedure: Involves ensuring the filtration system runs nonstop for 24 hours, setting required disinfection and pH values, closing water supply to probes, performing superchlorination, waiting for chlorine concentration to stabilize (0.3 to 1.2 mg/l), opening water supply, and adjusting pH.
  • Setting Values: Parameters such as pool volume, pool type (pool/whirlpool), water hardness, and flowmeter status can be configured via the touch screen.
  • Probe Calibration: pH probes can be calibrated using a buffer solution or a colorimeter/Pool Tester. CLF probes are calibrated by entering a manually measured chlorine concentration (using a photometer) in the CALIBRATION menu. Calibration is not necessary if the difference between measured and displayed values is less than 0.2 mg/liter.
  • Probe Testing: pH and REDOX probes can be tested for mechanical damage, measurement tolerance, and response to changes in water/buffer.
  • Error Messages: The system provides various error messages for issues such as depleted chemical agents, dosing pump malfunction, lack of water flow to probes, probe malfunction, dosing valve issues, rapid pH changes, out-of-range pH calibration, and calibration differences.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Visual Checks: Recommended for optimum efficiency.
  • Pump Hose Replacement: Peristaltic pump hoses (#12073) should be replaced every 24 months to prevent pump failure. The process involves switching off the unit, removing the pump cover cassette, detaching old hoses, lubricating and inserting new hoses, and securing the cassette.
  • Injection Valve Maintenance: Regular checks for throughput, rubber band integrity, and scale removal. Rubber bands should be replaced every 2 years for private pools and annually for public pools.
  • pH Probe Maintenance: Probes should be removed from the housing, cleaned from impurities, and rinsed with clean water.
  • Flowmeter with Filter: The flowmeter sieve should be rinsed regularly.
  • General Cleaning: Clear plastic tubes and valves should be rinsed with clean water during maintenance to prevent mixing of pH and chlorine agents.
