The Aspire Star Patient Mover (the Star Mover), provides a simple solution
for transferring a user from a bed or chair in comfort and safety.
Offering a compact and versatile design, the Star Mover is suitable
for Homecare, Acute Care and Aged Care environments.
4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT
The Star Mover has been designed to transfer human patients with the
assistance of one carer or attendant.
This Patient mover is designed for patients who can weight bear through
their legs. Patients should be able to stand independently or with minimal
amounts of assistance from an attendant or carer.
The Star Mover should only be used with Aspire approved standing slings, which
have been chosen and assessed by a competent trained health professional.

The correct and appropriate use of the Star Mover reduces the risks
associated with manual patient handling. The lifting and transferring
