Initialization/Setting the reference points.
The desks may havetobere-initialized when setupfor the firsttime,followinga powerfailure or after being
disconnected from themainssupply.
Initialization.
Read through the following steps carefully before startingsothat the initialization proce-dure can be completed without
difficulty–this is importantonaccountofthe specified times which must be maintained exactly.Furthermore,
the dongle, which activates theanti-collision,needstobe removed before intializing.Afterwards,it needs
tobe pluggedinthe controlsystemagain.
Press the DOWN button until the lower limit position is reached.
Briefly(approx. 2-3seconds)release the DOWN button whenall liftcolumns areinthe lower limit position;
thenpress and holdthe button again until thetable hasmoveddown marginally(approx. 5 mm) andreturnedtothe lower
limit position.
Thenpressthe UP button until theliftcolumns reach the upper limit position(indicated bya "harsh"bump
onreaching the limit position) and holditdownuntil the desk marginally movesdownagain(approx. 5 mm).
Now lower the desk approx. 100 mmby pressing the DOWN button(approx. 3seconds
Thenpressthe UP button againandmove the deskback tothe highest limit position (once again,this is
indicated bya "harsh"bumponreaching the limit position) and holditdown until the desk marginally movesdown again
(approx. 5 mm). The desk is now initializedandcan be settothe user's individual height.
TIP:
To checkthat initializationhasbeen completed successfully,repeat thelaststep, i.e.lower the desk by approx. 100 mm
andthen return tothe highest position.If this upper position is now reached"gently",the deskhasbeen initialized
successfully. .
Note:
If the buttons are released before the referencing procedurehasbeen completed,reference travelwillbe interruptedand
the complete initialization process must be repeated from the beginning.
