The Canvarostand-up/sit-downdesk may only be usedandoperated wheninperfect workingorder and in compliance
with theInformationforUsers.
The user undertakestocomply with the safety regulationsandwarningsintheInformationforUsers at alltimes.The
generally applicableandlocal regulations concerning accident preventionandprotectionofthe environment must be
observedinadditiontotheInformationforUsers.
Nonconforming useofthe product(i.e.for purposes other than as office furniture)cancausedanger to life andlimb,as
well as property damage.Nonconforming use is therefore prohibited, andthe companyASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL
GmbH & CO. KGcannot accept any liability for injury,damage or losses occurringin suchcases.The warranty for correct,
troublefree operationofthesystemcomponents isalsoextinguishedin suchcases.
The following uses are likewise prohibited: Liftingloads,use asaladder or lifting platform,use asa permanentstorage
area for weightsofmore than75 kg,useout ofdoors,useindamp rooms.
Note that the desk may only be connectedto powersupplies with the voltage specifiedinthe technical dataand/or the
manufacturer's label.
To prevent malfunctions,repairs may only be carriedoutby authorized repair shops or by our suppliers' service personnel
(contact throughASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL GmbH & CO. KG inMelle).
Duty periodperhour not more than6minutes,or2minutes continuous duty under full load.Exceeding the maximum duty
period can considerably reduce the servicelife ofthesystem.The motor,brakeandspindlenutmay overheat.
Ensure that noneofthe cables have been damaged during transport.Defective parts must be replaced immediately with
equivalent new parts.
WARNING: DESKLINEproducts are not resistant tocutting oils.
WARNING: Bewareof majormalfunctionsandinjury when openingDESKLINEproducts.It is prohibitedtoopen the
motor casings,control unitandDeskPanel.
WARNING: Liquids must not be allowedtoleak into the plug connections–riskofshort-circuiting.
WARNING: Aminimumdistance of 25 mmmust be ensured from adjacent objects.Bewareofinjury duetocrushed
limbs.
WARNING: This product is not intended for use by persons(including children)with limited physical,sensory ormental
capabilities or with little or noexperienceand/or knowledge,unless they are being supervised byaperson
responsible for their safety or have been instructedonthe product's use by that person.Children should be
supervisedto ensure that they donotplaywith the product.
WARNING: If the enclosedpowercable(with plugandsocket)is damaged,it must be replaced by an equivalent new
cable(same voltageandcurrent rating).
