Introduction to the Series 40 Conveyor
Conveyor Belt Take-Up
The tensioning of the conveyor
belt is accomplished through
the use of a take-up screw rod
which is attached to a movable
tail pulley and tightened against
the conveyor frame.
Conveyor Belt
The belt is a 2 ply 220 PIW,
1/8” top x 1/16” bottom.
Both types include mechanical
fasteners.
Optional vulcanized belt splice
is also available.
Drive
The Series 40 conveyor utilizes
a Class 1 shaft mounted gear
reducer drive assembly with
a v-belt drive, motor mount,
drive guarding and a TEFC
electric motor less starter and
wiring.
Belt speed is set at 350 FPM.
