How to fix Asus Server Board local/central server connection issues to ASMB4-iKVM/ASMB4-SOL PLUS board?

Luke JacksonAug 9, 2025
If your local or central server cannot connect to the Asus Server Board ASMB4-iKVM/ASMB4-SOL PLUS board, try the following:
1. Ensure the LAN cable is properly connected to the LAN port.
2. Verify that the IP addresses of both the remote and local/central servers are on the same subnet. You can test this by using the 'ping xx.xx.xx.xx' command (replacing with the remote server IP) on the local/central server to confirm the remote server replies.
3. Check if the IP source is set to DHCP. If it is, you won’t be able to configure the IP address.
